I am significant. I am a branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and a channel of his life.
John 15:5 “Yes i am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit. For apart from me you can’t do a thing.”
Did you know that you are a significant piece of Christ? When you accept Jesus into your heart, you are part of his body. His glory shines through and he has a purpose that is intended just for you! Like it says in John 15:5, you are the branches that God uses to reach out to others. I hope that I am not the only one who thinks that is pretty darn awesome. There comes a time in your life when you need to make a decision to become that significance that God wants you to be. Part of making that choice is deciding to refuse to play the victim anymore. Are you truly ready to move past your struggles or hang ups? This is such an important decision to make when it comes to finding your identity in Christ. I say this because if I never made that realization, I would never have been able to be comfortable in who God has made me to be.
This is a huge and sometimes difficult step into becoming identified in Christ. God can’t use a person who is unwilling to change or who is not willing to try to change. Realizing this is life changing! Unfortunately there is no magic formula to this. What does help is prayer. When you start having that conversation with God about leaving your past behind, God will begin to help you do it!
I want to pray for you all as you start to think about your significance in Christ.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I want to bring all the women that are reading this post to your feet. Lord I know that when they come to you they will begin to feel your love and start the process of finding their God given significance. I know you are the strength they need. Lord show them your power & help them move on, find their way, and bring glory to You. We pray this in your beautiful son Jesus’ name…… Amen
Remember you are all…. WONDERFULLY MADE!
